Harare Polytechnic
At Harare Polytechnic, we are dedicated to fostering leadership, nurturing creativity, and advancing fundamental knowledge. Through our comprehensive programs, we empower students to embrace their potential, unlock their talents, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities and beyond.
We take pride in our commitment to accelerating solutions and amplifying their impact. Harare Polytechnic is the oldest, largest serving institution of the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development in Zimbabwe.
What stands today as Harare Polytechnic has its modest origin in 1919 when the late George Chaloner started Mechanical Engineering Classes for a few young white men working under his supervision at Hubert Davies and Company.
