Short course programmes were formulated due to demand from youth and adults with inadequate ‘O’ levels qualification. On the other hand, ISOP is a non-resident institutional programme driven by needs of strong and vibrant society, in which a culture of technopreneurship and principles of self-sufficiency are instilled. The programmes are designed for previously disadvantaged people due to societal inequalities and other disparities in education and training.
The course is being offered on short term basis. At the end of the each programme students are given Harare Polytechnic certificates in their respective courses. Students are enrolled throughout the year.
