Principal's Desk
She holds an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE). She is the Vice Principal of Harare Polytechnic responsible for coordinating institutional strategic work plans and formulating evaluation systems to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning processes. Mrs. Ruziwa also Coordinates and oversees curriculum development and examination issues in liaison with the Curriculum Research and Development Unit (CRADU) CRADU and the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) in addition to supervising Heads of departments and heads of Divisions to ensure quality training is taking place.
• Supervise the maintenance of material and financial resources
• Supervise the human resources and administration officers or assistants and the heads of divisions/department
• Ensuring effective communication vertically and horizontally and conducting meetings/workshops for effective governance of the institution
• Coordination and supervision of curriculum and examination issues in liaison with CRADU and National Examinations
• Coordination of the performance management and appraisals
• Conducting staff development seminars/meetings
• Compiling assessment profiles for certification of students
• Counselling students and enforcing discipline
• Organizing students’ co-curricular activities
• Supervising the running of catering and boarding for students
