Records Management and Information science
The course is designed to produce a Records Personnel with knowledge, skills and attitudes to operate effectively and efficiently in records repositories and related fields to meet the information needs of clientele. The total duration of the course is 1142 hours spread over a period of one year. The course is offered on a full time and part time basis. Assessment is through continuous assessment and written examination. It embraces innovative heritage based education and training philosophy to solve national problems and to produce goods and services for industrialisation and modernisation.
Graduates in this course will be equipped to
