Irrigation and Water Resources Engineering
Irrigation and Water Resources Engineering technologists and technicians work on supplying water for human use, removing water when humans have finished using it and developing methods of avoiding damage from excess water (floods) including large or agricultural and agronomy landscape irrigation projects. They analyse existing site surveys, conduct research and identify potential structural and environmental problems. They work for the state, Local Authorities, Private firms, Research Consultants, Parastatals and NGOs.
