Diesel Plant Fitting (DPF)
Diesel plant fitters are trained to work on heavy mechanics specialising in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, primarily on off-road and mining equipment. Diesel Plant fitters specialise in skills acquisition for maintaining yellow machines and workshop plant equipment. Trainees are equipped with hands-on skills and are prepared to undergo trade testing for a Class One (1) Skilled Worker Qualification (journeyman card) on completion of the course. This qualification empowers them to be employable in the Automotive Industry and start their own companies.

Trade testing for diesel plant fitters
After acquiring National certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting studies, students will be eligible to register for trade testing for Class One Artisan in Diesel Plant fitting.
