Soloman Manyere is the coordinator of the Harare Polytechnic Bachelor of Technology Degree programmes. He holds an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Bergen- Norway, a Certificate in Recruitment of International Students and Management of Alumni Relations-British Council, Advanced Research Methodology and Post Graduate Supervision-Amabhubesi Training CC-SA. Manyere has participated in a number of local and international conferences and training programmes including Academic Ceremonies Management-ZIMCHE, Programme Design and Accreditation-ZIMCHE, Health Research Ethics-Research Support Center Good Clinical Practice, Research Support Center, Basic Training of Trainers Program of Effective IP Management by Small and Medium–Sizes Enterprises-WIPO, Workshop on the Development of the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) Network in Zimbabwe-WIPO. He is a member of many professional organisations including the National Manpower Advisory Council-NAMACO – Chemical Technology Sector, Research and Intellectual Outputs, Science, Engineering &Technology EXPO (RIO-SET) Program Design Committee Member (2009-2016), and is one of the founding members of the Zimbabwe Chemical Society (ZCS) and is currently serving as the Vice President of ZCS Tertiary Education Programs. His research interest includes Inorganic Chemistry, Organometallics Synthesis, Analytical Chemistry and Nanoscience.
