Laboratory Technology
The Laboratory Technology course focuses on training students in the practical and theoretical aspects of working in a laboratory setting. It is offered at the National Certificate level (NC) with students having the option to choose either Applied Chemical Technology or Applied Biotechnology at the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Levels:

- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Collect and record data
- Assist scientists and engineers in research and development
- Maintain laboratory safety and quality control
- Perform routine laboratory tasks (cleaning, disinfecting)
- Assist in training new laboratory personnel
- Participate in quality assurance and control
